One quick post during the school break for a little color inspiration. A couple years ago I decided I wanted to learn how to crochet. I didn't think I'd be a good knitter because I'm not really one for details or . . . counting. I thought I could handle small amounts of crochet - not an entire afghan or anything, but small projects. Well I completed one scarf and a few rows of a dishcloth. I keep wanting to get back to it. In fact this is the time of year I always want to pick up crocheting again. I picture myself sitting by the fire, watching TV, crocheting the heck out of things. Maybe I'll get there someday. In the meantime I have this lovely basket of yarn that I keep around because the colors are so beautiful and they look really great in my family room. Plus, if the basket is sitting right there I'm more likely to pick it up, right? It makes a wonderful color palette and that's good enough for me.
Now back to "break." The kids and I are cleaning the basement - I know you're jealous. Happy weekend.
